According to the news portal Telex, a sixth-grade student brought a knife from home and initially hid it under her desk. The strike was delivered to the back with a knife approximately 20 cm long — to the area of the heart, Bild writes.
The severely injured girl was able to be saved: after emergency surgery, her condition is stable, and she may be able to leave the hospital within 10 days.
Police stated that the attacker had a list of her classmates, with those she likely also wanted to kill marked in red. According to the media, the victim’s brother and two cousins were also on the list.
The school reported that the attacker was a diligent, quiet student who had never exhibited aggressive behavior. The police have not yet commented on the possible motives for the girl’s actions. She is in a temporary juvenile detention center: the police believe that, based on the list found, it cannot be ruled out that she will commit new crimes.
