The second whistleblower who exposed Boeing suddenly died under strange circumstances. Former company employee Joshua Dean passed away after a sudden illness, his family stated. He was 45 years old, as reported by Newsweek.

Dean accused Boeing of ignoring defects in the production of the 737 MAX. Aircraft of this series have frequently been involved in accidents and experienced safety issues in recent years.

“Joshua Dean, a former employee of Spirit AeroSystems, accused the aircraft manufacturer of ignoring defects in the production of the 737 MAX, a series whose reputation has been tarnished by a series of accidents and safety problems in recent years,” the material states.

In 2023, the worker was fired from Spirit AeroSystems after discovering violations in the hole-drilling technology in the fuselage during an inspection a year earlier.

Less than two months ago, Josh Barnett, who had also recently testified against the aircraft manufacturer, was shot dead.

Additionally, a former Boeing engineer spoke about the lack of a safety culture within the company during aircraft production. The engineer admitted fearing “physical harm” because of his words. He spoke out at a time when another Senate committee was holding separate hearings on safety culture at Boeing. These two hearings in Congress are part of numerous investigations being conducted against Boeing in the United States.
