Ally Lewber is not only an astrology expert, but she’s also Vanderpump Rulesresident Swiftie. When the aspiring musician stopped by DECIDER’s offices last week, we put her knowledge to the test by having her assign a different zodiac sign to each Taylor Swift album.

We regretfully listed Swift’s albums out of order when we talked to Lewber — but for the sake of storytelling, this article will go in chronological order of release, all starting with the then-country singer’s debut album, which Lewber said is a Capricorn since, of course, she is a Capricorn and it’s her “favorite” record. We love a day one Swiftie.

Then we asked about Fearless. Lewber sang the lyrics to “Hey Stephen” under her breath as she contemplated the different options, ultimately deciding that the beloved 2008 country album is a tried and true Taurus — even though she initially “wanted to give it Pisces.”

Swift’s third studio album, Speak Now, is a Leo because of her “bold” and “fun” songwriting, while her 2012 heartbreak album Red is obviously an Aries, Lewber explained.

“I mean, ‘Red.’ Aries. Fiery,” she added. “And [Swift], like, switched up her whole sound then. New beginning. New chapter.”

Lewber continued down the list, telling us that 1989 is an “uplifting” and “very energetic” Sagittarius, while Reputation is a Scorpio and Lover is a Libra — the Venus “sign of love and peace.” Duh.

Swift’s 2020 sister albums Folklore and Evermore are both Aquarius, according to Lewber, who described the alternative records as “authentic” and “very cool” — much like her boyfriend James Kennedy, who is also an Aquarius. Meanwhile, she said Midnights is a Cancer for its “emotional” qualities.

As far as the pop star’s newest album The Tortured Poets Department, Lewber told DECIDER, “Pisces. There’s no explanation. Go home, close your door, lock yourself in your room and write poetry.”

The reality star even dished on her favorite track from the new project.

“‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ because I just remember when she started the Eras Tour but Joe [Alwyn] and her had broken up and it’s like, ‘How is she doing that?'” Lewber said. “I wouldn’t be able to do that. I would be in bed with ice cream. But she was putting on the show of a lifetime. So just to hear her version. That song is so badass. I love it.”

In fact, Lewber recently had somewhat of a run-in with Swift and her beau Travis Kelce. While she didn’t meet the couple face-to-face, they were caught dancing to Kennedy’s Coachella set earlier this month.

“James was freaking out and I haven’t let him forget,” she said. “I bring it up every day. Like, ‘Taylor Swift was at your show!’ It’s just crazy. Of all people, you know? They were making out. They were, like, feeling it and enjoying it and that’s just so cool.”

When it comes to Swift and Kelce’s highly publicized romance, Lewber had high hopes for their future while chatting with DECIDER.

“We haven’t seen her with that type of energy yet. She has a lot of energy,” the star said. “So I think it’ll be interesting to see someone like that keep up with her energy. I like them together.”
