Video shows Texans’ Tank Dell caught up in crossfire during Florida nightclub shooting

Surveillance video has been released of the nightclub shooting in Florida in which Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was among those who were wounded.

Dell, who was uninvolved in the dispute, was hit by a stray bullet when shots rang out at Cabana Live in Sanford, a half-hour drive north of Orlando, on Saturday.

Fox 26 Houston shared video released by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office in which about 200 attendees of the nightclub quickly scurried away when the shooting began.

The surveillance video shows a fistfight, followed by the shooting.

Police have arrested Christopher Bouie Jr., the 16-year-old who was accused of shooting first.

Police are searching for an unidentified man who proceeded to return fire.

“That unknown person could absolutely be justified under Florida’s self-defense laws to pull out a gun and return fire if someone else is firing at them,” Sheriff Dennis Lemma said at a news conference.

“We just don’t know the circumstances until we can find that person.”

The video of the incident shows Dell standing right in between the two gunmen as they were exchanging fire.

In total, 10 people were shot in the incident.

Dell suffered what was deemed to be a “minor” wound and was released from the hospital.

“He is in good spirits,” the Texans said in a statement. “We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate, but we ask that you please respect his privacy at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident.”

In his rookie season last year, Dell caught 47 balls for 709 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games.
