Lace up your pointe shoes and get in first position, because Dance Moms is back. The infamous reality series, which originally ran on Lifetime from 2011 to 2019, is returning to the small screen for a reunion featuring all of our faves (well, almost all).
Dance Moms: The Reunion will include plenty of familiar faces, like JoJo Siwa, Chloe Lukasiak, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland, Kendall Vertes and Kalani Hilliker. Notably missing will be Maddie Ziegler, who started her career on Dance Moms and later made it big working with Sia and appearing in projects like The Fallout and West Side Story.
Also missing? The notorious Abby Lee Miller, who ran the studio where the Dance Moms stars trained as children. According to a People report, some former dancers participating in the reunion said they would only partake if their former instructor was not involved. Messy!
While Dance Moms knows drama well, Lukasiak herself insists the show brought good vibes, too. While chatting with DECIDER, she said Dance Moms gave her close relationships with both her castmates and the show’s crew.
“The girls and I always had a good time,” she told us. “The moms were off doing their own thing, but the girls and I were always close no matter what.”

Lifetime will also upload the Dance Moms reunion to the Lifetime app on Thursday, May 2.
