‘MILF Manor’ Season 2 Stars Anthony And Joey Schifilliti Reveal What Gave Them The “Boneys”

The inaugural season of MILF Manor made waves in the cultural zeitgeist when it was revealed that the dating pool the MILFs would be choosing from included their own adult sons. How could the second season top a twist that juicy? Well, easily, it turns out. At the end of the Season 2 premiere, the young men who were brought in to date the MILFs were shocked to see their dads walk in to the manor. Yes, these son-father duos will be competing for the same women!

“We were both expecting to go on different dating shows,” explained New Jersey restaurant owner Anthony Schifilliti. “We were sequestered, so we had no phones, nothing.” However, it was only good vibes when Anthony saw his son, Joey Schifilliti, among the group of daters. “I love this guy.” said Anthony. “He’s a beautiful person.”

From the very beginning, Joey made an impression on the MILFs. With his big personality and Italian good looks, the entrepreneur easily charmed the “seasoned” ladies and made friends with the fellas. When asked why older women appealed to him, Joey replied: “I love how they take control of certain situations. They know exactly what they want.”

The duo recently stopped by the Page Six studio to chat with DECIDER about Season 2, maple syrup and what gives them the “boneys” (see the video at the top of this article).

DECIDER: Obviously, you two are a pair of Jersey studs. Why did you turn to reality television to find love?

JOEY SCHIFILLITI: I don’t think we had to, but I think it was a really cool experience that anyone would have taken. I don’t regret any of it.

ANTHONY SCHIFILLITI: You know, I did online dating. It was a similar experience except this is a little more risqué with more twists and turns, and craziness.

Joey, what appeals to you most about dating older women?

JS: I love how they take control of certain situations. They know exactly what they want. They’re not afraid to speak their minds. Also, their independence. That’s what I’m attracted to.

Anthony, I have to commend you for looking to date women around your own age. A lot of successful, older guys want to date younger women.

AS: I understand that a lot of men do like to date 20- or 30-year-olds, but I love a seasoned woman. I like a woman who has been through life and had experiences. I’m looking for someone who I have a lot in common with and who loves to travel. I want to have beautiful conversations. I want someone with a little more experience who challenges me.

JS: “Seasoned,” I like that word.

AS: Seasoned like in cooking.

This season of MILF Manor takes place in Canada, which doesn’t necessarily sound sexy at the top. Can you tell me a sexy fact about the country or the manor itself?

JS: We’re sexy at the manor.

AS: The people all gelled together. It was just this beautiful, sexy, gorgeous time.

JS: Lot of coochie tingles going on [laughs]. That’s how we knew it was sexy.

Joey, that maple syrup challenge was wild! Can you talk about that experience? Did it bring you closer to the women?

JS: No [laughs]. Maple syrup is a very sensitive topic with me because I lost a lot of hair from that. I don’t know if it brought me closer to the women, but it definitely loosened the mood a little bit to start off the show. You can’t get much closer than that. I was carrying Jamie [Amaro]. She had about three-quarters of a cup worth of maple syrup in her … I can’t say what happened, but you saw it on TV.

MILF Manor is known for its wild twists, and this season is no different. Were you shocked to see each other at the manor on that fateful afternoon?

AS: Yeah, we were both expecting to go on different dating shows. We were sequestered, so we had no phones, nothing. We couldn’t communicate. So, when we bumped into each other, we were like, “What is going on over here?”

JS: Yeah, it was crazy. It was a very unique experience.

What’s the biggest takeaway from time on MILF Manor?

JS: My biggest takeaway was to not do tantric yoga with your father [laughs].

AS: I just enjoyed being with my son. I love this guy. He’s a beautiful person. That’s what my takeaway was.
