The former president of Uruguay José Mujica (2010-2015) announced this Monday that he has a tumor in the esophagus, Los Tiempos reported.
At a press conference, the former president said that it is “something obviously very compromised” and in his case “doubly complex” due to an immunological disease that he has suffered for more than two decades, which, among other things, has affected the functioning of his kidneys.
