President Joe Biden and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador recently conversed about migration during a call initiated by Biden, as reported by AP News.

The discussion revolved around collaboration on migration policies and enhancing operational effectiveness at the U.S.-Mexico border. López Obrador mentioned that they communicate periodically and praised the progress made in dissuading migrants from using illegal means for migration.

Both leaders have instructed their security teams to promptly implement measures to curb unauthorized border crossings while ensuring the protection of human rights.
