Assemble Debug, a renowned tipster , shared with Android Authority that they found an upcoming update for Google Contacts that would make its design less cluttered for users on Android. This redesign is rolling out with the latest version of the app, v4.30.50.628193927, and it makes it more straightforward compared to its previous interface. 

Instead of being bombarded with various fields, it goes directly to the point where users are asked about the first and last name, company, phone number, and email address fields to fill out. 

After that, users may add other important information like birthdays or any other 'significant date,' addresses, and labels that would fit the person.

Direct Info for Google Contacts on Android

Apart from the four fields of focus, Google Contacts also added the Notes text box for direct information about the contact that users are trying to save to better understand the person. Android's experience on Google Contacts saw a streamlined update dedicated to removing clutter and making it more direct-to-the-point, avoiding previous information that may not be relevant to a user. 

It also adds a new Favorite button to designate a top contact, as well as an 'Add Field' button that allows a user to customize additional information to follow up.
