We got this to give to a grandchild. But it’s obvious to our eyes and hands that this Little Tikes garbage truck is of the same quality construction as the Little Tikes toys we bought our own children years ago. This ride-on toy is totally run by foot action. The steering wheel does not turn the vehicle. Your child will change the truck’s direction by kind of picking up the front and moving his or her feet.
We have a 32-year-old Little Tikes tractor in our basement that we gave our oldest son when he was little. It was made to last and still looks good today, now that his children are playing on it.
The garbage truck has a working horn as well as a mini working trash bin that dumps into the truck. Maybe you can teach your toddler to begin to pick up his trash using this fun vehicle. This is a fun toy that will last for years!
