‘RHONJ’ Star Danielle Cabral Reveals She Was An Extra On ‘The Sopranos’ “Probably Around The Time” Jennifer Fessler Was Sleeping With James Gandolfini [EXCLUSIVE]

Jennifer Fessler shocked the Bravoverse when she opened up about her tryst with James Gandolfini back in The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13. But as it turns out, Jersey is a small state, because Fessler wasn’t the only Housewife in her franchise who had a connection to the iconic Sopranos star.

Ahead of RHONJ’s Season 14 premiere, DECIDER caught up with Danielle Cabral, who revealed that she was once an extra on The Sopranos — likely around the same time her co-star was sleeping with the show’s leading man.

“You know what’s funny? While she was probably having an affair with James Gandolfini, I was actually an extra on the set of Sopranos,” Cabral exclusively told us. “I was a kid. They filmed at a [New] Jersey mall. And I was in the background of a Sopranos episode probably around the time she was sleeping with him.”

Fessler first made the NSFW confession during an April 2023 episode of RHONJ. The then-rookie Housewife was looking back on her days as a talent agent when she admitted to sleeping with Gandolfini, who famously played New Jersey mobster Tony Soprano in the hit HBO crime series.

“I met James Gandolfini before The Sopranos. I was obsessed,” she told the cameras in her confessional. “He actually took me to an S&M bar. It was crazy. And we hung out and we drank and we went back to his apartment and we fucked.”

Fessler continued, “He was so the one that got away. But it was also the one that was never really there. But he absolutely was inside me. That is a fact. More than once.”

The reality star added that she was “so upset” when Gandolfini died in 2013.

“[My husband] Jeff was like, ‘You realize you weren’t in a relationship with him,'” she recalled, noting that the actor had “that sex appeal to him.”

While Fessler’s revelation prompted many jaws to drop, it’s not as surprising that Cabral was once an extra in The Sopranos. The reality star, who previously starred on MTV’s True Life, once told DECIDER that she had always had dreams to work in entertainment.

“Reality TV just kind of came to me,” she said in an April 2023 interview with us. “I always wanted to be in the entertainment industry. I’m not afraid to say that either. So it was always a dream of mine – and it happened!”
