Amid a serious safety crisis at Boeing, another incident occurred. As reported by ABC News, a Delta Airlines plane was flying from New York to Los Angeles. Shortly after takeoff, the pilots reported hearing a knocking sound and feeling vibrations.

After being airborne for only 33 minutes, the Boeing 767-300 landed again at John F. Kennedy International Airport. An initial inspection revealed that the emergency slide of the aircraft had detached. The compact, deflated piece weighing several kilograms has yet to be found.

Just in April of this year, the following incidents involving Boeing aircraft were recorded: tire loss during takeoff, detached piece of skin, and turbine fire. A particular stir was caused by an incident in January 2024 when the emergency exit door detached during flight. At that moment, the Boeing 737-9 Max was flying at an altitude of around 5,000 meters.
