Candace Cameron Bure is starring in the new Christian drama Unsung Hero, which is coming to theaters this week. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this movie!

Based on a true story, Unsung Hero follows the Smallbone family as its members become two successful Christian recording acts — For King & Country and Rebecca St. James — after moving from Australia to Nashville, Tenn.

So, where can you watch Unsung Hero? Is it on Netflix? What about Max?

WHERE TO WATCH UNSUNG HERO:

As of now, the only way to watch Unsung Hero is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, April 26. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon.

WHEN WILL UNSUNG HERO BE ON STREAMING? WILL UNSUNG HERO BE ON AMAZON PRIME VIDEO?

While a digital release date has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate on when Unsung Hero will become available to rent or purchase based on a previous movie distributed by Lionsgate. Ordinary Angels joined digital on March 26 — about four weeks after its theatrical debut. If Unsung Hero follows the same trajectory, you may be able to watch from the comfort of your home by late May 2024.

Plus, it’s possible that Unsung Hero will eventually come to Peacock due to a deal that gives the streamer access to all Lionsgate theatrical releases during its Pay 2 window beginning in 2024.

WILL UNSUNG HERO BE ON HBO MAX?

No, Unsung Hero will likely not be available on Max (previously known as HBO Max) since it is not a Warner Bros. Discovery film.

WILL UNSUNG HERO BE ON NETFLIX?

No, Unsung Hero will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. While it’s possible the film may come to the streamer at some point in the future, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on digital platforms in the meantime.
