HOUSE flies can be a nuisance and there are plenty of hacks to deter them - but have you ever wondered what happens with their poo and where it stays?

Well, according to the cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, also known as Sophie Hinchliffe, the grim discovery is hiding in plain sight in your home - but luckily, there's an easy way to get rid of it.

According to the savvy mum-of-two, 34, one of the tasks she had set herself for the April cleaning challenge was to spruce up all the framework on the windows.

As she then started to clean the area, Sophie demonstrated in a gross video on Instagram, there were tiny black bits sitting by the windows.

''If you ever see the little black dots, it's fly crap - just FYI!'' the cleaning pro explained.

To make matters even more grim, the 34-year-old - who recently shared a huge Home Bargains haul - also spotted a couple of dead ladybirds hiding in-between the window crevices.

However, that didn't prove to be enough to gross Sophie out - instead, she grabbed a few tools and gave the windows a much-needed spruce-up.

For this, the mum-of-two first used a little brush to remove any poo that was stuck by the windows and then went over with one of her favourite products - The Pink Stuff paste.

The cleaning whizz is obsessed with the bargain buy, so it comes as no wonder she tackled the fly poo with the multi-use product, which you can find at Tesco for £1.50.

Whether you need to tackle grim grease and grime or give your garden furniture a good wipe - or banish fly poo - The Pink Stuff is the solution.

In the video shared on her Instagram page, Mrs Hinch could be seen taking a little amount of the paste with what appeared to be an electric toothbrush and rubbing around the window framework.

Once done, she wiped the white surface clean and finished the makeover by making the cottage-style windows sparkle like new using Mr. Sheen.

‘How good is that for £1.40?’ Mrs Hinch shares huge Home Bargains haul with budget cleaning and gardening buys

All chuffed with the transformation, Sophie wrote alongside the video: ''Cleaning window tracks and framework - check.''

£2.99 secret to banishing shower limescale

Recently, the mum-of-two, who lives in Essex, also revealed how she tackles stubborn limescale using a £2.99 secret - Viakal Bathroom Limescale Remover Spray.

“I’ve used it for years,” she said.

Viakal’s limescale spray is a staple in most households, with one spray bottle costing £2.99.

“This is your number one against limescale ally,” reads the description online.

Who is Mrs Hinch and what is her net worth?

Sophie found fame online thanks to her cleaning hacks and spotless home interiors.

The cleaning guru revealed that at the time, she wasn't looking for fame online, but decided to create the Home account to avoid "clogging up my personal Instagram and boring everyone with home pictures".

In her 20s, the star suffered from "anxiety and panic attacks" — but found that cleaning would help her cope.

"I would then get up and grab a cloth or a mop or a hoover and just start going."

As reported by the Sun last year, in 2023, Mrs Hinch's Instagram account makes Sophie the second best paid cleaning influencer in the world.

Research has revealed the cleaning-obsessed mum rakes in an average of £5.9k every time she posts on social media.

“It quickly eliminates limescale and hard water marks, together with the dirt and bacteria trapped inside of them.

“This spray goes to work on your bathroom and kitchen surfaces, from chrome to ceramics to tiles and shower doors, to remove imperfections and leave behind a brilliant shine.

“The formula not only removes the limescale, but it prevents it from returning on your surfaces.

“Thanks to the anti droplet technology, water marks will be prevented from reappearing, giving you the convenience of a long lasting shine.”
