In the video, the car expert said that while he does enjoy using standard waxing products he often finds "drawbacks".

These products don't offer long-term protection with most lasting up to three months on average.

However, "the durability isn't the real problem".

To wax a car efficiently you need a "good combination of the weather and environment".

This makes it a challenge and most drivers end up making their car look worse as a result.

Waxing your car in the sun is "a terrible idea" as many of the standard wax products have a low melting point.

The car cleaning expert said the wax reacts from the intense heat leaving a "greasy film" on the motor.

Instead of waxing your car, he recommends using Foam+.

This is "a ceramic foam sealant that offers incredible glass boosting" and gives your motor a similar shine that you can get from using wax.

To put it to the test, the car cleaning expert used the product on his friend's car.

He covered the motor in the Foam+ and immediately rinsed it off after.

The Foam+ comes with a "revolutionary double rinse formula which prevents the risk of water spots".

To get the best results from the product drivers will need to rinse thoroughly and should "go around lightly first" before going "over it again".

This can lead to your motor getting a greasy film, leading to more costs.

However, Foam+ works well in the sun and lasts longer than most waxing products.

He used the foam on a different car to see how effective it was.

"Then it dawned on me we own a £200 Skoda.

"And yes of course the results were spectacular."

It costs drivers just £5 for one application of Foam+, considerably cheaper than the alternative options that can cost up to £90.

The car cleaning expert added: "Personally I think this is one of the best ceramic foam sprays out there period.

"It gave an amazing gloss.

"The water repellency was just Superior to anything I've ever used before and durability-wise the reviews speak for themselves."

Many viewers left comments under the video praising the YouTuber for sharing the product.

His channel, Epic Automotive Detailing, shows how best to look after your car and the most effective ways to clean it.

"Just placed an order for this product," said one user.

They added: "As a 70-year-old, all I can say is that it beats the crap out of a waxing car."

Another wrote: "Take my money..quick.

"Definitely going to try this on my car."

While a third said: "Those ceramic snow foams and nano sealants save so much time and effort."

Drivers can buy 500ml of Foam+ online for just £25 or those who want to stock up on the product can pay £100 for 5 litres.
