It's been a relatively quiet season for sackings.

Last term saw a record-breaking 14 bosses given their marching orders, breaking the previous record of 10 first set in 2013-14 and repeated in 2017-18 and 2021-22.

Julen Lopetegui, Paul Heckingbottom, Steve Cooper and Roy Hodgson were all either axed or left their positions over the past eight months.

Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp also announced his decision to step down as Liverpool manager at the end of the current season back in January.

But he will NOT count as a managerial departure unless he exits before Liverpool's final match of the season against Wolves on May 19.

That all leaves Erik ten Hag as the 8/1 favourite for the axe after a fairly disappointing season at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils crashed out of Europe after finishing bottom of their Champions League group, and also exited the Carabao Cup at the round of 16 stage.

They also find themselves locked in a battle with Newcastle for Europa League qualification after a lacklustre draw with 19th-placed Burnley over the weekend.

Ten Hag does have one ace up his sleeve in the shape of the FA Cup final against Manchester City, and that's perhaps likely to see him survive the season unscathed.

Sheffield United's Chris Wilder is next at 9/1.

The Blades were officially relegated with 16 points from 35 games, making them the third-worst side in Premier League history in terms of points and goal difference.

Although he has declared that supporters can "trust him" to stay at the club beyond the summer.

If no manager leaves before kick off on the 19th May 2024 then "No Manager To Leave" (1/3) will be settled as a winner and all other selections as losers.
